The first week of August Grandma went to her primary care doctor Dr hill regarding stomach pains. Dr Hill thought it was her spleen so she ordered a CT scan to see what was going on. Ct scan showed a fist size tumor near her stomach so Dr Hill ordered a biopsy. Biopsy was done august 8, 2016 and grandma met with surgical oncologist Dr Anderson on August 9, 2016. Dr Anderson was unsure of the damage due to a poor CT scan and the size of the tumor. Dr Anderson stated it was the size of a soccer ball and would have surgery Thursday to remove the tumor. She stated that there were a few outcomes of how surgery could go and that grandma could end up with feeding tube.
