 I found a lump in my neck in April 2005, it ended up being Cancer. I had my thyroid removed in May 2005 and  treatment. May 06 my body scan was clear. May 07 Cancer was back, had anothe treatment. May 08 Cancer still there, sent me to a surgeon at Emory. Because of where the spot was, he didn't want to do surgery. Another Radio Active Iodine treatment was done. Went back for my scan again July 09 Cancer still there and is growing. Dr Vavic doesn't want to do any more Radio Active Iodine treatments, so he is referring me to M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas.  I am waiting to hear back from him to find out when my appointment will be in Texas.
