My name is Mercedes LaMonte. At the age of 13 I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts; then at the age of 15 I was diagnosed with PCOD also known as Polycystic Ovarian Disease. It is a condition that is linked to an imbalance with insulin and the hormone that is associated with male-patterned baldness.
