Mel Robinson loves Jesus. He loves his family, his country, his tractor and a good joke. He also is likely the only person on the planet with a form of cancer that has been diagnosed only 18 times since 1957. Mel is battling Stage 4 Spindle Cell Sarcoma of the maxillary sinus. Cancer has spread to the lymph nodes, lung and liver.
But, before he tells you about the cancer journey, he will ask you if you know Jesus and he will talk about how important his faith is to him.
And then he’ll tell you a joke or two.
Mel looks forward to accompanying his medical team to Hawaii (or anywhere awesome) when they present their research papers presenting his case. He frequently reminds them of their obligation to take him along.
