Hi Everyone, I’m going to be using this to keep family and friends updated in one place. For those of you who have asked about the back story, for the last two weeks or so I have been having strong spasms when falling asleep.  They were more than regular twitching and I would also gasp for air.  They wouldn’t last long and I’d fall right asleep as usual.  Then Brooke had a dance rehearsal by Flemington or labertville NJ.  Christina came with Brooke and I to help me
Out.  That first night in the hotel christina witnessed  my spasms and was concerned. She tried to video tape me but we couldn’t get a clear video.   After dropping Brooke off at the theatre we went back to the hotel to watch her dance via zoom.  I decided to lay down and take a nap so chris could capture it on video.  The spasms started quickly were more
intense so I sat up which normally makes them to away—only this time they didn’t.  Within minutes I was flailing on the bed in convulsions and had no control of my limbs or movements but I was 100% conscious or what was occurring.  Christina called 911 and they took me to Hunterdon medical center.  They treated me with benadryl and said I was having to one of my medicines.   Initially the Benadryl helped so they sent me home. By the time chris got me home the spasms were back so I took another dose of Benadryl and fell asleep.  I woke up after 2 hours and the spasms started coming back and getting worse so Mike had to take me to Morristown medical center and I’ve been admitted since Saturday night.  My MRI was fine, my CT was fine.  They said I am not having seizures but generalized dystonia or myoclonic spasms. They just don’t know the cause.  During my EEG yesterday I had a very bad episode- especially when they flickered the lights.  3 doctors came running in and they all agreed that it was not seizures that I was having.  Today my doctors are discussing doing spinal tests since the episodes seem to be worse when I’m lying down.  They are working on managing the episodes and finding a cause of it.  I’ve been on a ton of medicines and I’m very tired but ok. I’m mentally aware but have some brain fog and confusion at times.  I just wanted to make it easier for me to communicate with you all instead of sending a lot of texts and getting confused as to who I updated and who I didn’t.  As of now my doctor told me I will be out of work for at least this week.  I’m also not allowed to drive u til further notice.  I’ll keep you all posted as I get more info.  I don’t ask for prayers but I’d appreciate them.  Just miss my kids and I’m concerned about what’s going on with me.  Thank you all for your love and support it means the world to me. Love you and I’ll update hopefully soon.
