I knew something was wrong.  On June 29, 2016, the doctor setup a series of tests.  After the outcome seemed suspicious, I was told to see a surgeon immediately.  The surgeon did two biopsies on the sites that were suspected cancerous. On July 5, 2016, at 36 years old,  I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. There is a 3.2 cm tumor that is cancerous, along with three areas under my right arm where the cancer has traveled that are cancer positive.

The cancer is one that is fast growing.  Therefore, the doctors are moving quickly to find the best solutions to shrink and remove the tumor and lymph nodes.  Currently, I am undergoing chemotherapy.  After a pet scan and MRI, the doctors believe that the cancer has not spread to any other sites; However, the chemotherapy will help to ensure that cancerous cells are being destroyed.  Surgeries, radiation, and lots more chemo are in the near and far future. The surgeon and oncologist believe this to be a two year journey.

The Lord is so good and has given me his mercy and grace everyday. The prayers of God's people are literally holding me up.
