On the 19th of May, Melissa tested positive for Covid-19.
She had been careful and had been following proper Covid protocols, properly sanitizing her hands and surfaces, and wearing her mask even when driving in the car.
She came in brief contact with a coworker that had been exposed, but of course neither were aware of it at the time.
Covid has cleared her system and her body is working to repair the damage left behind. Currently, she is on a ventilator, fighting for every breath and fighting to keep living.
She needs all of your love and positive energy as she continues her healing journey.
