Hello Friends! As you may know by now, Melissa had an MRI on October 26th that revealed a Schwannoma tumor on her brain. This tumor is most likely non-malignant, but its location on her brain stem makes having this tumor more challenging. Brain surgery is scheduled for January 16, 2019 at University of Penn. This page will serve as a place where we can provide updates on her progress and ask for support as needed. We will soon post some dates for support. Melissa is struggling with eating right now and would appreciate a little support with some small meals just for her so she can ensure she gets the nutrition she needs while she focuses on caring for the children and navigating this emotional decision making process.
