Melissa Baker

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  As many are aware, Melissa was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) earlier this year.  After pursuing a second opinion from experts in the field, weighing the variety of treatment options and paths, and praying for guidance and peace in her desicion, she opted to pursue standard of care treatment.  She began her treatment in April and was doing well; however, on June 21, it was discovered her disease has progressed to acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
