Welcome to Melanie's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Melanie was recently diagnosed with recurring breast cancer after having a regular mammogram screening and a biopsy.  Her surgery is scheduled on Wednesday, February 15 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Melanie has been filled with a great deal of joy and peace since she received the news and has looked at this part of her journey as a huge blessing.  Her faith is extremely strong and she has a wonderful, loving support system which includes family and many friends. She greatly appreciates your prayers for a successful surgery, a good prognosis, and complete healing.
