Megan Yoder Fighting Glioblastoma

First post: Sep 23, 2016 Latest post: Aug 27, 2017
Megan recently started having left-sided numbness and has now been diagnosed with a brain Tumor called a Glioblastoma located in the right parietal lobe. Megan is a fighter and wants to do everything she can to survive and continue leading her life to the fullest. We will be traveling to Duke University one of the top Brain Tumor Centers to develop a treatment plan.

It was five years ago this summer that she ended chemotherapy for her leukemia. She is currently a Junior at IU Kelley School of Business where she is majoring in Supply Chain Management and Sustainable Business, with a minor in Environmental Management.   She is also the President of Net Impact: The Sustainable Business Club, whose mission is to educate and empower the next generation of social and environmental conscientious business leaders.   She has been a global traveler this past summer, completing a language-immersive internship in Seville, Spain with a public health company.  During this internship, she conducted preliminary research on the utilization of drones  in disaster relief management teams to determine the benefits and feasibility of integrating this technology into Spain's current crisis response management.  With family and friends, we pray for healing and a return to better health.
