On Sunday July 16th, 2017 Megan sustained life changing injuries due to a swimming accident. She dove into a pool that she didn't realize was too shallow, and broke her neck along with traumatic damage to her spinal cord. Doctor's thought Megan may never walk again. Megan has already gone through two surgeries in less than 3 days, a neck fusion and a tracheotomy. Megan is already showing small signs of hope that she will walk again.
