It is not surprising that the history of the name Megan comes from the word "Pearl." Her beauty, smile and love touches everyone around her. How fitting that she was born on the day that we celebrate love! Well, our beauty now has a fight against breast cancer ahead of her and we want to use this forum to keep family & friends updated, to send love & prayers to Meg and to let you know what might be helpful. A month ago, Megan was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Positive Her2 Breast Cancer. Because of its aggressive nature her oncologist has implemented an aggressive plan. Megan will have 20 weeks of chemotherapy, radiation, antibody treatments for a year along with mastectomy and reconstruction surgeries. As you can imagine, this has rocked her world and ours but I have watched her face it all so courageously. Your prayers, notes of encouragement and acts of kindness can help make her very challenging journey possible.
