Bennet Meacham Growing baby Meacham

First post: Aug 4, 2022 Latest post: Aug 25, 2022
At twenty-three weeks our baby boy,  Bennet Michael Meacham, presented with significant growth restriction and declining flow from the placenta.  This puts us at a high risk for very early delivery. Because of his growth restriction (he is measuring 2-3 weeks behind) and gestational age he is too small for much intervention should delivery be needed in the next few weeks. Becky has been admitted to Riley Hospital for close monitoring. She will likely be there till delivery is needed. Dean is managing home life with Dexter alone, and the family is preparing for what could be a long journey apart. Though it is almost unbearable to be living away from every day life with Dean and Dexter, Becky and Bennet are getting the best possible care at Riley.  We are praying for physical growth and emotional and spiritual strength. We hope to have uneventful updates week to week, but feel free to follow along with us here.

Bennet means blessing, and we trust that God will bless his life and bring him home to us.

"For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am  fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139:13-14

For those asking how they can help, a meal train has been set up to support Dean and Dexter at home.
