Stress test on Friday, morning October 1st, and then triple bypass open heart surgery that night.   What a surprise for us all.   Mom, Jeff and I feel all of the prayers, love and support during the last few crazy days.  God had his hand in all the events leading up to Friday.

Dad was having some signs over the last few weeks from shortness of breath, back pain, and acid reflux.  He did see a doctor who said he should schedule a stress test for the end of October.  However,  dad knew something wasn't right and he needed to get in right away after he couldn't go out to water his plants without shortness of breath.  Those that know my dad, he is very active.  Works out every day and is in the yard messing with his plants on a daily basis.  The fact that he was not able  to do what he enjoys most sent a huge red flag.   So, he scheduled the first and closest day to get a stress test.  THANK GOD he got it done when he did.  After the surgery on Friday the doctors were AMAZED that dad had not had a heart attack and that he was still on this earth.  GOD IS NOT DONE WITH HIM YET!  Again, God has had his hand in this from the beginning. We praise him daily!

Dad is a man of faith, a mentor to all who come in contact with him as well as the BEST husband, dad, and papaw ever!  We are going to keep you updated here with all the progress of his body healing from heart surgery.  We will also be posting specific prayer request as we are firm believers in the power of prayer.

Big hugs and love to you all!  Please share this site with all who know my dad and will pray daily for his success in recovery.
