We may not remember all that she said to us or all that she gave us, but we will always remember how she made us feel.
MaryBrent was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in April. After three weeks at UCLA medical and the week of 24 hours per day chemotherapy, MaryBrent chose to return home to her garden. She enjoyed her remaining days with Martin in their desert garden paradise. Remember one of MaryBrent's often used chants, "El pueblo unido jamas sera vencido" (the people united shall never be defeated). The united love and support of family and friends made MaryBrent's last days joyful.
We appreciate your support and words of hope, encouragement, and remembrance.
