Maxwell Lamers Inside Job

Thanks for visiting the site. If you haven't already heard, I have been diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer). Long story short, I got the news on the day after Christmas, 12/26/17, and due to the rarity of the cancer I'll be receiving care at the Mayo Clinic. They are one of only a few centers in the United States equipped to handle transplants for this cancer. My transplant evaluation took place  1/29/18 - 2/2/18 and ultimately I was placed on the UNOS transplant list. I have since been back to Mayo clinic for Chemo and Radiation therapy. Now I'm on oral chemotherapy and awaiting a liver transplant. Within the journal entries you'll find a lot of information on some of my major medical history and my current situation.
