Maxine's journey began when she found a lump during a "self-check." She had been to her doctor less than a month before and received a clean bill of health. This lump virtually appeared in less than four weeks. She called her doctor and after a couple weeks worth of tests, ultrasounds, mammograms, and a biopsy, she had the answer we were all dreading- Breast Cancer.
