Welcome to Max's CaringBridge website. Max, our oldest son, was diagnosed with B-cell ALL (leukemia) on April 5, 2019. The last month has been full of hospitalization, clinic visits, chemo, and a whole lot of emotion. We feel fortunate to have several groups of people that care about our family from a variety of times and places in our lives, and because of that, we have set up this CaringBridge for you. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. John and I are managing this site. You will hear from both of us throughout treatment. You will see posts at the beginning from our siblings who helped to set up care schedules, meals, and donation sites. We ask that you use discretion when sharing information about our son to the greater public. These posts are meant to help you process and understand a bit of the journey Max, his brother, John, and I are on, as well as give you one place to get information.
