On March 5th, 2020, at 7:30 a.m, I will be having surgery at UCSF. After quite a few years of pain and hospitals, we have found a group of surgeons that are going to "make me all better". Dr Posselt will be leading a team to perform a Total Pancreatectomy with Auto Islet Transfer. Big words....but a piece o' cake!! The surgery should take between 10 and 12 hours. I so appreciate all of your good thoughts and prayers. Talk to you soon!
