Let me begin by saying the outpouring of love and support is that we have been given already (day 2) is so amazing. Thank you.  


Matt went in yesterday for a routine colonoscopy and a tumor was discovered. From that moment it has been a whirlwind of events. Numerous tests were ordered quickly and we discovered it was adenocarcinoma that spread to the lungs, liver, and lymph nodes. That’s all we know as of now. Tomorrow morning Matt will have surgery to remove this aggressive tumor. (Yes, day 3) Thankful for the swiftness of our surgeon who is attacking this just as aggressive!! She’s not messing around. He will have a minimum of 3-5 night  stay if all goes well!!
