Matt Rocco

Matt’s situation is critical.  He has bilateral pneumonia which has escalated in to severe Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). He is on a ventilator, with sepsis and several secondary complications. Our greatest need is for prayer. 

Would you please intercede for Matt, asking God to extend his days and restore him to health? God is the author of life and we know that ultimately Matt’s care is in his hands.  Our desire as a family is to trust in our heavenly Father but to also wear him out with our asking for Matt’s restoration.  His plans are for good, for a future and for hope. There is no doubt that Matt will surrender this experience to God and use it the best he can to bring glory to God  - please pray that God will give him the opportunity to do that.  

One of the things that is immediately clear to those who first meet Matt is his passion for people and his desire that each person discover what he himself has found – that God has a plan for a future and a hope, a plan to prosper those who belong to him and not to harm.  (Jeremiah 29:11) Matt has discovered the truth of this promise through both the success and the challenges in his own life – that God has a good plan that is worth pursuing. Part of God’s plan for him has been to invest in and encourage others in whatever way he can as they find God’s plan on their own paths– whether through practical help or positive influence. Along the way, he has made lifelong friends and grown from knowing each.
