Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support, prayers, and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. This is the recovery story of a Son, Husband, Father, Friend, and Lineman. He has two sons, Austin (6 y.o.) and Reid (6 mo). His wife Kayla, and his parents (Kathy and Doug) are with him for support. His journey is already a miracle and we look forward to sharing the many more miracles to come. Matt was hurt on the job June 13, 2016. He is now in Augusta, GA in the nation's largest burn center. He is receiving excellent care. We ask that as we serve Matt and try to give our attention to him that you find this website a window into our journey and we will update it as often as we can. We thank each and every one of you for the concern and support for our family. Continue praying for strength and for a smooth recovery for Matt!
