Matt was in a work accident March 30.  He was about 5 minutes away from being done with his work day and was ran over by a work vehicle.  This had been his 4th day back to work after being laid off for the winter.  he had done a little work in-between but this was his first official week of the season.  He is very lucky and thankful to be alive!!  He had to have emergency surgery on his lower back to reduce the pressure to his spinal cord.  We are very thankful he has movement in his legs.  His ear was detached from his head and had plastic surgery to reattach his ear.  He has a broken vertebrae in his neck.  They are waiting on surgery to see if Matt will heal on his own for that.  It is I very risky surgery.  He has several broken ribs also.  Matt has a great support system.  His loving wife, her family, Matt's family and all his awesome friends!!  He can feel the love from all over.  He needs this so he can continue to stay positive and help him fight through this difficult time!!
