Sweet Maren Matson was diagnosed with Leukemia this past Monday. Maren had been experiencing a cough and persistent symptoms that she was struggling to overcome. After a visit with the pediatrician, Maren received further testing at Children’s Mercy Hospital where she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. While the news is still very fresh and overwhelming, the Matson family is very optimistic about Maren’s prognosis and they know that Maren is a FIGHTER! The Matson family is focusing on a treatment plan and keeping Maren in good spirits. As they move forward on this healing journey, they will continue to share updates through Caring Bridge. Please know that the Matson’s see and hear all your support and they are grateful for it. At this time, they are asking for prayers for Maren.
