From the moment we knew you existed we fought for you. From the very beginning mommy's kidneys and blood pressure started to decline; and we knew it would be a race against time. Mommy's team of doctors helped to prevent premature labor; helped control her blood pressure, and her blood sugar. In the end mommy's body gave up and stopped responding to medication and there was nothing that we could do; you came into this world at 27w 5days; (much better than the 24 week scare we had). Your daddy has been there every step of the way holding my hand and supporting me in any and every way he could. He's been there through hospital stays and bed rest. Nobody could ask for a better daddy than the one that you have. You have a long journey ahead of you but we love you we are proud of you and we will be there for you every moment.
