Welcome to our CaringBridge website.

Over the weekend of July 12th, Mary was admitted to Sanford Health at the Roger Marris Cancer Center for new concerns which have developed in her battle with breast cancer. The news that we received was not as we had hopped, and the cancer has metastasized into the brain and possibly the spine.

On July 17th, Mary began radiation treatments with the hopes of shrinking the tumors. We expect the radiation treatments to take place over the course of the next two weeks, and the hope is to go home to Walker after that.

We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. Kari Demarais, will also be maintaining a schedule for those who wish to visit over the upcoming weeks. You can reach Kari at karidemarais@gmail.com or text/call her at 218-289-3067.

We are in a good place and are at peace with whatever God has in store in the weeks ahead.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand." Isaiah 41:10.

We appreciate your prayers, support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
