This is how I found out I have Breast Cancer. I had pain in my left Breast. I then felt the lump. I called Kaiser and received a same day appt.  My Dr was out on paternity leave  so I was given the Dr that was there. She felt the lump too.  The Dr ordered a mammogram and ultrasound.  We were leaving for Yosemite the next day and I had to wait a week to schedule my appt because they needed a lot of time.  So a week later  I scheduled my appt for May 1st.  I had the mammo, unltrasound & the Radiologist wanted to do a biopsy.  So after 3 hrs all my tests were done. I was told we would be getting a call from the surgeons office to schedule an appt to go over my results in about a week. THE NEXT DAY  May 2nd I received a call my results were in. Scheduled the first available appt. May 5th.
May 5th was the day I was given the diagnosis that I have Breast Cancer.
