Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support,  words of hope and encouragement,  and most importantly your prayers.

As you may know Mary was in a golf cart accident Saturday afternoon in which she suffered a fractured skull.  Saturday night she underwent a surgery to remove part of her skull to alleviate the pressure building from swelling of her brain.  Sunday morning they performed a second CT scan to determine if any other immediate surgery was necessary. Fortunately for now, that wasn’t necessary and the results are positive. She passed the touch test, moving her arms, legs, fingers and toes. Currently she hasn’t opened her eyes yet, just slight fluttering, but her medical team is optimistic since it has been less than 24 hours since her surgery.
Mary is in the ICU at St. Joseph hospital in St. Charles. We are in need of prayers for her, her medical team, and her family.   We are all staying positive. She has a long road ahead after she wakes up. Thank you for all your love and support. Mary is the kindest, gentlest, most generous person I know, which also makes her the strongest. She is a fighter and we have an army of prayers coming her way.
You may also join sign up genius, Prayers for Mary, https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0F4FA5AB2EA3FE3-prayers to schedule an hour of prayer. We will likely have meal trains set up soon as well.
Feel free to leave a message of love for Mary and her family.

Mary,
You have always been the one ready to hold us up and support us through anything... ready to be Jesus’ quiet servant, always loving, generous and patient. You have a whole army of us here to hold you up now. Keep fighting sweet sister. Your babies are waiting for you. We will be here loving them, and you through all of this. Talk to you soon momma.
