Hi all! We wanted to touch base and give you an update on Mary Sharon. In September, she fell and broke her pelvis in two places. She spent some time in the hospital, acute rehab at Marionjoy and she is nearing the end of her subacute journey at The DuPage County Care Center. She will be coming home on Saturday October 28th.
We are happy that she will be returning home! During her stay many people have been kind and generous to help my dad with rides, grocery shopping, visiting my mom to keep her spirits and we are grateful.
Her transition home will take some hard work for my mom and we wanted to reach out for some help if you are willing and able. We will update if we need help with a ride or two for my mom to get around if she still needs some support in that area. We will also create a take them a meal account for a few meals a week for a few weeks!
