This has been the summer of MUM!!!  Mom began this summer with a trip to the ER in Phoenix 2 days before she headed to Italy because she was trying to sneak a peek into Suzanne's neighbor's yard and fell. She dislocated her middle finger (which she pulled back into place herself)!!  She traveled Italy like a pro...walking, touring, eating, drinking, and soaking up the Italian beauty.  She and dad drove up to Cuchara on June 30  not feeling too well. She got up the next morning and wanted her iPad to google heart attack symptoms!!  This resulted in a quick trip to the ER in Walsenburg which led to an ambulance ride to the Parkview Hospital in Pueblo with a partial bowel obstruction.  No surgery was needed but she stayed in the hospital until July 3.   Things were going pretty well until around the middle of July when her chest wall showed signs of infection.   After days and weeks of care in Walsenburg, and then Pueblo, she took another ambulance ride to the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver for surgery which is where we are now.  Thank you for your prayers for her healing!
