Marc had a serious hockey accident on Monday night, July 23rd.  He went head first into the boards and was unconscious for 20 minutes. He was intubated, sedated and transported to Harborview. CAT scans and CT showed 6 spinal fractures in his neck and back (odontoid, C1, C2, C7,T4 &T5). As of today, July 25th Marc continues to be in stable condition. He is able to move fingers and toes and respond to verbal commands by blinking. After yesterdays MRI the doctors decided that no fusions were necessary at this time-YAY! Marc is scheduled for surgery tomorrow, July 26th, where the doctors will put a screw into his odontoid. He continues to be  intubated and sedated to keep him still.
