At 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2016, Mary was on her motorcycle (wearing a helmet) going south on Lexington Ave and a car going north turned left in front of her on 155th Avenue.  "She didn't stand a chance" per an eye witness.

Mary was critically injured and is in ICU at HCMC.  She has brain injuries, broken pelvis with internal bleeding (bleeding has been stopped), correction:  there is still internal bleeding in the pelvis area, some fractures in the back of her skull, a broken shoulder, a shattered knee and many other fractures in all her limbs.  Multiple lacerations.
