On July 22 I had a routine mammogram. It showed suspicious masses so a biopsy was ordered. The biopsy showed invasive ductal carcinoma in the right breast. After meeting with the surgeon it was decided to remove the right breast do a sentinel node biopsy at the same time.  At my request, an MRI was ordered.  Two days later the MRI found masses on the left side as well. After biopsy one of those was found with the same type of cancer. So...aug. 22 I will have both removed. Sigh!! After pathology sees the sample an onocologists will decide on further treatment.
