Mary’s story  began in July of this year, when she developed back pain.  This pain lead to an MRI, which revealed a mass on her spine.  She was referred to Rush University Medical Center, where she had surgery to remove the mass in August.  The mass was found to be Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma.  She has started chemotherapy and is doing wonderfully!  She is our champion and will continue to take this on with the strength and grace she has always shown.
