Mary Fairfield, wife of Rick Kline,  went to the ER on 5/3/18 after experiencing numbness on the right side of her body and headaches for a couple of days.  She was originally diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor by the local hospital but that was not the end of the story.  She traveled to Mayo for a second opinion and learned that miracles happen in Rochester, Minnesota, thanks to a brilliant surgeon named Dr. Terrence Burns and his amazing team.  On 5/18/2018,  she had a successful surgery that removed 90% of the tumor followed by a 6-week radiation/chemo treatment plan at Mayo.   Phase 2 of treatment is now complete with 6 months of chemo that ended 3/26/19.  She would so appreciate your leaving a comment for her on this site.  Mary wants you to know that she is focused on being positive and she feels a great peace that she knows is from the prayers and love coming her way.
