Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Mary Catherine was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2018, after going to the doctor for what she thought was a hernia.  This was obviously not the news you want to hear, and after consultation with an oncologist, radiation doctor, and several rounds of testing, it has been determined that it is a treatable form of cancer.
The treatment will involve radiation which began February 13 and will end February 26.  She also is receiving a monthly injection of a cancer killing agent called Octreotide.  The first injection also occurred February 13, 2018. Update: On February 20, 2018 - we were told she will have Chemo and it will start March 5th.
The emotional toll on her has been the hardest as many of you may know.  Leaving a message or positive note on this site will help her and give her the motivation to fight and stay positive.  If you want to help in some way - please ask Mike, Megan Davis or Stacie Campbell.
Michael, Nathan, Matthew, and Ryan are all doing their part to support and provide assistance throughout this ordeal.  As are both sides of her family.  Please keep them in your prayers, and know that your support is greatly appreciated.  We will try to post a weekly update as this continues.
