If my sister asked me to do this I’d say she’s crazy. I’d tell you that life is fine and things will go on and that’s true.
But I asked my sister to do the unthinkable. I want her to tell you how much I appreciate your friendship, I want her to tell you how stupid this is because of course I’ll be fine. I want her to tell you that every persons cancer journey is their own. Their family, their friends, their people or their tribe.
Mostly I’d tell you that I’m scared, that I have a long road ahead, one that many have been down. That my breast cancer is one in a 5-10% which feels like not much.
I’d tell you that I will, and still, promote curing pancreatic cancer because that is truly a killer.
I’d hope that this page helps you find comfort where you had none, find friendship that you lost and find peace where it’s much deserved.
You will get updates, I have not enough time, to keep with all those I love and know.
Please pray for my doctors, for my family, for your friends, and for you family. They are what matters.
