On Monday, June 18,  2018, Mary Beth woke up with a stiff neck. She took a couple of Advil and drove herself from the lakes to Fargo.  When she safely made it to to Fargo she realized it was more than a stiff neck.  She called her husband  (Doug) and asked him to call 911.    She.was admitted to the hospital and it was discovered she had a spinal arteriovenous malformation (AVM).   This is a very rare condition and it required surgery  to correct..  Mary Beth is in the critical care unit at present .  There is no road map for injuries such as this.  The doctors have stated it will be a long and arduous process for her to gain back the mobility she lost because of the trauma.   She has asked that people don’t send donations to this site only good wishes.  Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
