As many of you already know, we found a lump in my breast late last year. After a double mastectomy, I am cancer free. However, after testing the biopsies, we realized  that the form of cancer I had was extremely aggressive...chemo was highly recommended. 

The plan was to do 4 rounds of Chemo over the next several weeks (target was to be finished by June).  Fast forward to a few weeks ago where I had my first treatment; days went by and things seemed ok....maybe this journey  wouldn't be as bad as we thought.

Then things made a dramatic turn for the worse.  The sickness started last Tuesday and by Wednesday I was in the ER at Lakeview in Stillwater for dehydration. Thursday we returned to the hospital for follow up with the Oncologist - and immediately was sent to ER with a high-grade fever and an infection that had progressed into sepsis...
