My Gratitude for my healing circle, for your generosity and kind spirits, keeps me moving forward and helps me stay positive, especially when the going gets rough. My surgery was on August 21, and I will have a two-month recovery. I plan to spend the first several weeks in Houston, and spend some time later at the lakehouse. Or something like that. I can walk, but am not permitted to hold Auggie's leash, to prevent tearing the intestine surgical reconnection. I will need a few rides to medical appointments.
