Mary B. Hagan

On May 2nd, Mom drove herself to the hospital because of back pain and nausea, only to find out from several scans that her Breast Cancer from 2011 had returned.       After spending a week in a hospital in Naples and three additional weeks in the University of Miami hospital, she is now at Meredith's home in Weston, FL.  She has been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and stage four brain cancer.  After completing three weeks of brain radiation, Mary has decided not to move forward with any other treatments.  A tumor that was found on her spinal cord has caused numbness to her arms, hands and legs, creating difficulty in daily activities.  She is resting          comfortably at Meredith's home with the support of hospice.  Mom loves receiving cards and notes and her faith continues to bring her much peace and joy.
