My story began in November 2015, when I found a lump in my right breast. Of course it was before a family vacation but my doctor had a mammogram and ultrasound scheduled the next day prior to us leaving for vacation. My biopsy was not scheduled until vacation was over. I had the biopsy on the 4th of December and received a call on Monday asking me to come in for the results. Long story short it was Invasive ductile carcinoma, stage 1. Surgery was scheduled for December 31st. (Happy New Year) Now we wait.
