Mary Ann began experiencing some severe pain in upper stomach area some five to six weeks ago. The pain gradually increased until she was only able to sleep two hrs a night and eating was difficult.  She did some doctoring and they thought she had gall stones. After treating for that and nothing helped they did an ultrasound and discovered there were no stones, but she still was very sick. After much consideration and phone calls they decided to go to Juarez, Mexico to the Good Samaritan clinic for some help and to see if it was possibly a hiatal hernia. They took her right in and did a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and said everything looked healthy through those except for definitely a  hernia which was an 8 on the scale of 1-10.  So they did the surgery right away and while they were in surgery they discovered  a mass above the stomach that looked very strange and also a small lesion on the liver.  They took a biopsy of both and they came back malignant cancer. They sent them on for further testing and came back with the same results. They need to do more testing yet to decide what kind of cancer it is. The doctor  says it is something rare. He cannot hardly believe yet that it is actually cancer. He went over all the blood work and liver numbers again with us and nothing is elevated or shows any signs of cancer at all! They did a CT scan and they results of that showed 3 more small lesions  on the liver and also something else either in the ovaries or lymph nodes below the stomach. We are still waiting for further results.  They flew home Tuesday and are starting further doctoring for second opinion. Thanks for visiting our site!
