On November 24th I had an accident in my garage that involved my left side.  DIVINE INTERVENTION Doc said I had two hematomas to the left breast but to get to Women's Center to double check.  Two spots showed up on mammogram/ultrasound that were not there for March mammo and were not part of the hematomas).  Biopsy showed one spot was cancer.  Six days later, on 12.20.18, (Bobby's birthday!)  I was at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center with my sister, Michele (one L), and my stepdaughter, Michelle (double L), starting a new journey.  Since that appointment we found out I have invasive ductal carcinoma triple negative, inflammatory breast cancer and I am bracha gene 1 positive.  I had my first chemo yesterday with my Jessie and Michelle by my side.  I have 15 more chemos, a three week wait, a  total mastectomy, three week wait, six weeks of radiation, three week wait and a hysterectomy.  Jess is BRCA 1 positive which means she will need to have a total mastectomy and hysterectomy by age 35.  **Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.
