Mary Anne was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October after a long bout of doctor appointments, tests, surgery, scans and biopsies.  Surgery /biopsy of the tumor revealed that it was lymphoma.  She was emergently admitted to The James Cancer Hospital in November due to low sodium levels and also received her first of six inpatient chemo treatments.  Four days after she returned home, she was taken to the emergency room where they discovered she had a perforated bowel.  She underwent emergency surgery on November 14th and then remained in the ICU for three weeks due to sepsis.  She was then transferred to an ICU rehab facility on December 5th and is currently receiving medical and rehabilitation care.  The goal is to get her healthy enough to be able to continue her chemo treatments for the lymphoma.  We are all praying for the best outcome and we know so many of you care and love her as we do.  We will provide updates as often as we can through this site and appreciate all of your love and prayers.
