Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  At least initially, Terry will be posting updates. 


Dad and Mom left Albuquerque on Friday, December 8th to move to Gilbert, Arizona. They arrived late in the afternoon and decided that we would unpack the moving truck Saturday morning. They spent Saturday afternoon unpacking some boxes and shopping for new furniture.  After dinner at Copper Springs - the new retirement community they are moving into - they headed back to our house.  They are staying with us until they are settled in their new place. 


Late Saturday evening dad started having severe abdominal pain. The pain didn’t subside, but increased. Eventually dad was take the emergency room. A CT scan  revealed colitis- but oddly, he had no fever and his white blood count was well within normal range. At about 4 am he was finally moved to ICU.
