Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Marty has been dealing with a lot of pain, mainly in the back since early August.  She finally was able to get to the hospital a few weeks ago and had tests done.  She had MRI's and CAT Scans done, and the doctors determined that she had a fractured #10 thoracic vertebra.  It was also determined that this was caused by a metastasis of previous breast cancer.  It had spread into her spinal column and also into her liver.  She spent 9 days in the hospital, and as of Monday, November 21st, will have spent about 18 days in rehabilitation.  It is hoped that she will be able to come home then.  The doctors say this is incurable.  We won't know exactly what types of treatment are available until the 21st when we meet with the oncologist to review the results of the tests they ran.  We are praying for healing, and believe that God can heal her.
