Martha (Marty) Henry

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope, encouragement and your prayers.  As many of you know Marty was diagnosed, in April 2018, with a rare infection that formed a mass in her lung and then metastasized to her brain.  The doctors worked feverishly to do labs, biopsies, cultures, etc. to identify the bacteria.  Once they were able to do that they began an aggressive treatment plan.   This has been an extremely long road for her and for her family.  Her initial treatment has caused so many other problems that she is having to deal with.  She has been sent to rehab two different times and she hasn't really been ready for that either time.  So, as of today, Wednesday, June 20, she is back in the hospital for stay #3.  She is getting a unit of blood today and having another MRI of her brain.  We are hoping to get some answers once the results are in from the MRI.  If you would be so kind as to continue to pray and pray specifically for her doctors to have wisdom, her nurses and caregivers at the hospital to be kind, patient and loving to her, and for peace for her and her family.  We will post new information as we get it.  Thank You and God Bless Each Of You!!
