Marlene passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018.  She will be dearly missed by many.

Welcome to Marlene's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.   In mid-August, Marlene had a seizure and fell unconscious.  After an MRI and then biopsy, it was diagnosed that she had a Grade/Stage 4 brain tumor.  It is not curable. She is choosing a path of palliative care focusing on relief from the symptoms and stress of the cancer.  Son Tommy shares that Marlene is in a "good place" about what's happening; she has a spirit of acceptance and she's feeling peaceful about this difficult situation.

The  most helpful thing friends can do is send good wishes through the Thoughts and Well Wishes Guestbook section at this site (at the bottom of this homepage) or mail cards to her at Sholom Home, 730 Kay Ave, SP 55102.

Daughter Carol is primarily coordinating Marlene's (and Tom's) care.  Tom has moved into assisted living at Sholom Home.

So many people love and appreciate Marlene; please send her back some of that love in the form of prayers, good wishes, loving guest book entries that will be shared with her daily, and send her a card!
